Dr. Divyendu Singh is a Partner at the New York Insurance Company Houston General Office. He joined New York Life back in 2016 as a Financial Services Professional and now accepted a leadership role as a Partner at New York Life Houston Office. As a Partner, his role is recruiting and training the agents. After 15 years working as a scientist in Biomedical Research (Immunology) at several medical educational Institutes including NIH, Indiana University, and MD Anderson he wanted the opportunity to work somewhere that made it easy for other people to do what was right, and more importantly, made it easy for me to do right by them. He has been a proud resident of the Pearland Texas community for 9 years, and therefore has a vested interest in seeing friends and neighbors succeed. He is a loving father of two boys 18 and 12 year old,

"A Texas State flag that was flown

President - Chandrakanth Vemula. This is such a high civilian honor and we are extremely humbled. Thanks to Representative Ed Thompson for supporting our efforts
In 2020, Chandra received the "Martin Luther King Community Service" award from Pearland MLKCC, for making a real change in the community via Greater Businesses of Pearland
In 2019, Chandra received the "Individual Cleanup Award" from Keep Pearland Beautiful for his work with GB Pearland Clean and Green, founding it and growing it over the years
Chandrakanth Vemula (Chandra) - has been residing in Pearland since 2011. He is the founder and brains behind "Greater Businesses of Pearland". He is very actively involved in the community. He and his wife Dr Vishalakshmi Batchu own a Primary Care clinic (http://www.internalmedhouston.com) and have built the clinic from scratch with very high values and are considered model business and valuable community residents.They have a daughter and a little puppy. Chandra has been selflessly serving the community through active engagement and was the founder of Wobble before you Gobble - Pearland's biggest Health fair and Pearland Clean and Green - Pearland's biggest city wide clean up and recycling event and they both became Pearland's proudest events. He is known to be a people's person and a fast friend. He continues to support and nurture the growth of GB Pearland. Chandra also serves on the Advisory Council for Keep Pearland Beautiful
Kristy Nair, a Financial Services Professional at Strategic Financial Group, is a beacon of positivity as both a devoted mom and community leader. Originally from Western New York, she now embraces the City of Pearland as home. Kristy is the Vice President of the Southlake Home Owner's Association. She extends her impact beyond just her own neighborhood as a proud and active resident of the Pearland community. Recently nominated to the Board of Directors for GB Pearland where she has been a dedicated ambassador for several years. Kristy fosters unity and inclusion while advocating for local small businesses. Alongside her role at SFG, where she's involved in "We Rose," a women's empowerment group where she is whole-heartedly devoted to supporting women entrepreneurs, Kristy also founded her own social media marketing company "I am Lotus Consulting," a testament to her resilience and entrepreneurial spirit. With her unwavering dedication and infectious humor, Kristy inspires others and embodies success in all her endeavors.
